So by now its been 2 full weeks and half a third week. This week I showed anothre 1.5 pounds lost, but better than that, last Monday (the 10th) I measured myself in several places (i.e. thighs, waist, hips, etc.). This Monday (the 17th) I measured myself again. 9.5″ total lost! I’m thinking that maybe I didn’t measure in the same places, because that is a lot of inches in a week, but well, I’m going to accept that anyway.
I’ve successfully stayed away from sugar, except for Monday when I brought 3 bachelor co-workers lasagna, one of them thanked me by buying me a blond brownie from STarbucks, so I had to eat it. But other than that, there has been no sugar.
I’ve walked every day but last Friday when it was raining. So far so good. We’ll see how long I can keep it up.
Ta Ta for now. Dinner is here and I’d better quit writing or Nick will get annoyed.

Hey even if the inches are exactly right, you’re making great progress!
The inches are probably right. Keep in mind that muscle is much denser than fat and if you are walking, you’re likely creating some muscle. Measuring is actually probably a much better way of measuring loss than weight simply for that fact.
Congratulations! Losing inches is wonderful because you can really feel a difference especially in how clothes fit. You’re inspiring me to skip my daily pack of Lorna Doones with lunch.
Congratulations on inches lost. You should be an inspiration to me to get on the treadmill, but my nose is stuffed up and I’m using that as an excuse for today.:-)
